What I saw heard:

1. Program is interesting. Still has bugs and lags (watch the steering and the car reaction time). Ironic that right after Xbox Creative Director person talks about need for precise controls in a racing game he hits a car in the rear end.

2. The red jump suits and the taped off area were probably to make the swapping and demoing go more smoothly (the Xbox Creative Director stayed on that box when he walked forward and around.

3. The Xbox Creative Director would not commit to a 2010 release date. From the words he used, I do not think that it is because they hope to have it out for 2009. Rather, there could be other issues (supply, software, price, etc.).

Again, a promising technology. But it has to deliver to work.
And add-ons have a poor record of getting people to buy them (the Wii Balance Board is at only about one-third users and it is an uber success).

i agree very much. i bolded a couple of parts i tend to focus on because thats essentially all that matters. What we see we should judge....if the market and industry was built on simply potential the PS3 would get the best grade , but it clearly doesnt because i lacked games originally, lacks a decent pricepoint and the differentiation in games and price negate any processing power. Sony toughts BD but have we seen how its a difference? no, we dont get oodles of audio tracks on all games or better texture all around....etc.

My point is and always has been a new technology can get us all excited and the possibilities could be limitless but we have seen a family oriented minigame that has far too much lag to feel in control, it looks gimmicky, and a burnout paradise demo that shows the lack of crisp control for this to work. its hard enough driving through billboards an dhitt ramps with accuraccy let alone with this....instead of everyone getting excited and calling people names maybe we should take it at face value.
