why do you feel that he got what he deserved?  You just assumed that he might have done something?  Yes there is always more than what is reported but to say you feel he deserved it basked on being sure there are two sides to the story.   The other side could just be on the technitian maybe he was having a terrible day and then did something terrible, we don't know.  To feel someone desevres something bad happening to them when you know they did something is one thing, but to feel that way when you don't even know.  That's really cold.

I've worked in a call center, and retail, I've seen and spoken with people that have tried to either get a refund, or new products sent out to them, because they feel that it broke on it's own or was faulty from the start, and with further inspection we find out that the customers stupidty in most case's caused the problem, now I'm not saying that all people are like that, but that one must not just take one side just because he/she is a victim, just remember that victims can also be the culprit, and all it takes is verbal abuse, or in this techs case, finding  a small note with some harsh words or something like that make people snap, I know cuz I've released calls my self, abusive people should be dealt with in this manner, plain and simply regardless of the occupation.
