A few more details about anyone that might care:

  • Sadly it does not look like Ernie Hudson will be there.  There are rumblings of him being in Dallas area on Tuesday but nothing at all confirmed.
  • Ecto-1 is in fact confirmed (be there from about 9PM to 2AM)
  • There will be anywhere from 30-40 Terminal Reality guys there signing games, strategy guides, whatever, and talking about the game.
  • The Ghostbusters fans from Texas, Oklahoma, and Lousianna (along with random ones from other states) will be there in full Ghostbusters getup.
  • I believe there will be big screens to play the game on before midnight.
  • The Gamestop has more than 100 preorders and that's not counting the preorders that are coming in from six nearby Gamestops that will also be letting people pick up their preorders that night.
  • There will be other things there too.

All in all, it should be a good party and if you're near the Dallas area you should definately come down!

And just for fun, the IGN UK review (where it got an Editor's Choice award):

Closing Comments
This is where things get difficult then. Minus those Ghostbusters trimmings, Terminal Reality has crafted a blisteringly energetic, entertaining experience. It might lack variety on a basic level but it’s still engagingly solid, if not out-and-out spectacular. As a Ghostbusters game though, its pitch-perfect authenticity makes this a practically irresistible proposition for anyone old enough to remember shoving a shoe box on their back and chasing the cat around with the Hoover nozzle. So where does that leave us then? Easy – thoroughly non-committal. There’s enough here to entertain newcomers and diehards will likely to love it. Pick your camp and head .5 in either direction. Meanwhile, we’ll sit right in the middle - hey, there’s a Zuul in our fridge and we’re not afraid to use it.

IGN UK Ratings for Ghostbusters: The Video Game (PS3)
Rating Description
out of 10 click here for ratings guide
8.5 Presentation
A little rough around the edges but Terminal Reality has totally nailed the spirit of the iconic series, in large part due to the involvement of the original Ghostbusting team.
8.5 Graphics
Diverse environments look great, as do the beautifully-designed spectres. Tearing and stilted animation on the humans let the side down though.
8.0 Sound
Classic orchestrations from the original movie run through, although they're spread thinly, and its great to hear Murray et al back in action - despite occasionally flat lines.
8.0 Gameplay
Whichever way you spin in, ghost bustin' and Proton Packing is immensely entertaining. More variety would be appreciated but at least the multiplayer gives giggles.
8.5 Lasting Appeal
It's about ten hours from front to end but multiplayer and a bevy of collectibles extend its lifespan and fans will probably want to sit through again regardless.

Also, here's the IGN review where they gave it an 8 (just so people don't think I'm trying to hide it :-p).I'm just not always a fan how he writes reviews.
