Wii Motion+ is $20 not $25, and you get one free when you buy Wii Sports Resort (or a few other games)
1 classic controller is enough, you don't need multiple. I got mine free with a game.
You get a free remote when you buy Wii Play, which any self respecting gamer should do.

Compare this to the GC, which had no way to get controllers for cheaper (unless you bought knock offs, but then you missed out on the most comfortable controller ever)

Price of 3 motes, 3 chuks, 3 WM+, 1 classic controller, Wii Play and WSR = 80 + 60 + 40 + 20 + 50 + 50
= $300

Price of 3 wavebird controllers, and 2 games of as high quality as Wii Play and WSR, and a memory card for $25

=$275
Adjust for the approx 5 years between releases at 5% inflation.
= $275*1.05^5
= $351

How is it that the one gen in which there was such an amazing leap in technology over previous controllers, that prices actually decreased? Amazing

Oh, and steven787, you're an even worse shopper (or an even worse troll) than the OP. Don't buy a recharge kit. For $15 AU (ie about $8 US you can get a battery charger with 4 AA batteries) Then a few dollars for 4 more batteries. But why am I even telling you this, surely everyone owns a AA battery charger? If you actually buy non rechargeable batteries then I hereby forbid you to ever bitch about the price of anything until you buy a battery charger
