I think hes missing the most important point. If your Wii motion controls are broken and you reach deadline then you have to release the game. If your Xbox 360 Natal implementation just sucks then you've probably got a regular controller to fall back on and you can cut the feature and even if you don't cut the feature it still won't prevent people from enjoying the game.
