Congrats!! My first, a girl, is 6 months old now (almost 7) and it's been a blast.
Expect at least the first month to be really tough! The no sleep + new relationship dynamics + added stress can = bad fights if you're not careful. Expect your wife to really start to feel like herself again in 4-5 months after the baby (hormones, etc are crazy). It'll take a while for both of you to adjust but it's totally worth it.
