I think as many posters have pointed out that the more telling statistic will be the 60GB sales. I really think it is a fear tactic on the part of Sony, and quite frankly I think if we do not see a spike in the sales of the 60GB then it could be a sign of two things. Either consumers are no longer impressed by the brand period. The consumers are not impressed with the implied threats by Sony. The 40GB is just so incredibly neutered in comparison.
