• Multiplayer: Play local multiplayer, or co-op multiplayer over Xbox LIVE®.
• Achievements and leaderboards: Earn new achievements and gamerscore and post your top score to the leaderboards.

The game itself is a 2player game and it clearly has online multiplayer..

But still even the game page says 1player to the right, must be a typo..
