Where else, besides graphics should driving games be improved?

OT: As others have said, physics is where there's still a lot of potential.  It's just going to require a lot of processing power, so it's one of the few things that can still benefit from more powerful consoles.  Aerodynamics, traction, etc. still have plenty of room to improve.

I'm saying they are all fun in their own rights and we don't need to abandon a concept just because someone doesn't find it interesting. That would be like saying chick flicks would be better if they had more explosions and jokes. We don't need to cross over everything, but we can create new IPs and genres for that purpose, and leave the originals as they are.

No, I was speaking sarcastically.  You used the term "kiddy" to suggest that arcade racers like Mario kart are somhow inferior, immature, or less fun.  That's just stupid.

In case you didn't notice, I'm pretty sure he was joking.
