Well he is right, it is a rip off. Sony will try their luck though and you might some people are crazy enough to bite. GT Portable might push a few but overall PSP 3000 sales should increase a lot. Either way I assume the PSP Go is being sold at a large profit so meh let us see what happens. What helps Sony if that there is a much cheaper model so they will not suffer much.
As Source said it could also be funding a PS3 price cut however if a slim really is on the way (would believe Sin over all of you :P) a price cut will be possible without losing a larger amount per unit sold.
