Don't you worry... our eduaction system really shows us time and time again what shit we've done ^^ But sometimes it feels a little bit behind the carpet because many of the things that belongs to this "past" are censored and something that "should not talked about"

Are you kidding or are you confusing Germany with some other country that was never really forced to deal with their violent past (i could name a few) ?

No other country in the world talks more about its darkest years than Germany. There are TV documentaries and discussions about national socialism all over the place, tons of books about the topic released every year even today and children learn about what our country did to the world in school.

I said some things... and I mean speeches from that time for example... and there are some thing that are held behind a carpet so noone ever touches them again... It IS talked to death but there are some things you can't get your hands on that easily and I don't think it's bad. I mean I was totured as evil german for more than enough years in school but some questioned were never proper answered (for me) and I learned while finding out that there is some stuff being locked. Not behind seven seals but... "hidden"
