@Zezlar: Nintendo offered so much more... Even the name playstation comes from Nintendo...
Sony pretty much copies everything, but they made some good choices to drop cartridges with the ps1 and use dvd in the ps2. It doesn't compare to the things Nintendo has done for the gamers.
If you're talking about all the gaming history then it's nintendo. As in a fact.
If it's this gen only then there's room for discussion.
