| dbot said: I really hate motion controls. It is partially tolerable on my Wii, but I have zero interest in getting motion on the 360 or the PS3. I really enjoy sitting down and relaxing when I play video games. Although there is potential for motion to improve RTS on consoles, there really is very little else they can do that interests me. I can't imagine a day when my pretend "air" steering wheel provides even remotely the same satisfaction that my Logitech wheel provides me. |
Amen! I enjoy many games on my Wii, but I'm starting to realize I may be too lazy to enjoy Wii Motion Plus. As awesome as I think Tiger Woods, EA Tennis, etc. look, I'm pretty sure that during the times I play games the most (when everyone else has gone to bed), I won't feel like standing in the middle of my living room. I'll want to sit and relax. If I wanted to exercise...I'd excercise.
EDIT: I'd like to clarify that I like motion controls if I can sit down to use them (Medal of Honor Heroes 2, Mario Kart, etc.). I don't like any game that makes me stand whether it's motion control or not.
Keep this in mind when reading what I type...
I've been gaming longer than many of you have been alive.
