Where else, besides graphics should driving games be improved?

I  think that is relevant to any game genre.  The questions, what specifically would increase the fun factor.  I would like to see a Google Maps driving game that lets you drive anywhere in a given country.  Hey Sony, you have Blu-Ray!  You have room for this!
