Yep. It's also a bit baffling, as it implies that GST doesn't need horizontal calibration of the WM+, ie that it doesn't map 1:1 on the horizontal plane at all.

Perhaps it uses the accelerometer to work out where it is in terms of gravity? I have no idea really :S
