I'm sorry to hear that, I already experienced my system failing, but it was no RRoD. It was that my power brick broke. I had the Nyko Intercooler on the system trying to pull extra air out of the 360. But really it was pulling power from the 360 and the power brick. So in the coming days the power brick went. I then was still under EBGames/Gamestop 30-day defective warranty. So I exchange my Premium 360 for a Elite. And had this Elite every since. I have no lock-ups, system is cool and warm. The discs come out cool and I only play the 360 for like 3 hours max and I turn the 360 off.
But anywho..I hope they do give you a Falcon edition. And don't worry about it as long as your gaming when the 360 returns and your playing the best games currently. There shouldn't be any worries.
