A valve is a device that regulates the flow of a fluid (gases, fluidized solids, slurries, or liquids) by opening, closing, or partially obstructing various passageways. Now, since they opened it with Left 4 Dead, money (or liquid gold) was flowing to them. Now, they want to obstruct your wallet's supply into their supply. Thus, by creating L4D2, they are flowing money from your wallet into their wallets.
