I know Forza 3 is looking great, but Polyphony has no reason not to launch GT5 already. They could and they know it. I bet Forza 3's looks and style caught them off guard and after this its back to the drawing board for them. That is f'n sad. How long are they going to make people wait for GT5? If they keep going on this way PS3 owners will never get a GT6, because they are waiting for the competition to go first, when Turn 10 launches two games within the realm of the last full GT launch and the new one coming soon.

they said they could release it, but only when they are happy with it.

they also said regarding dev cycle that they had to get a prologue out and finish gtpsp 1st.

u keep bringing up jibberish arguments without explaining why the long cycle.

if turn 10 on thier shedule also had to get out a prologue and complete a handheld version which is full on game, i highly doubt they also would be able to get thier flagship game out quicker.

If Turn ten had a 5 year schedule with Forza 3 like Polyphony has with Gran Turismo 5, they would've had three times the tracks and features that GT5 has. Think about it.

Polyphony hasn't only been working on GT5, however.  They released Tourist Trophy in early 2006, the free GTHD in late 2006, and they're mere months away from releasing GT PSP, with over 800 cars.

What would Forza 3 look like if Turn 10 had to divert team members and resources to 1-2 other games during its year and a half dev time?
