General - Is there a god? - View Post

Religion is a choice one has to make for themselves. No one can prove or disprove that God exists. That's why it's more commonly referred to as faith. Faith to believe in the unseen. Faith to believe in something to the very core of your being.

You have to make the choice for yourself if you believe in God and the Bible. No one can tell you whether or not it's real.

For me personally, I believe in God. I believe that there is a higher purpose for all of us.. that there is something greater than any of us could ever attain while here on Earth.. that this is not all there is. And no one can say whether or not this is true. We will all know one day.

So if you choose to believe in God, awesome. If not, awesome. Live your life the way you see fit.

Well said, Malcom, expect for that last line.  If someone chooses not to believe in God it is indeed their choice and they are entitled to it, but it is not awesome.  For if there really is a God then there really is a heaven and a hell.  Ultimately God gives us all the freedom and choice to make the decisions that we want, but to reject Him has eternal consequences.
