In America, Gears of War had a 20% attach rate in it's first week! I don't mean to put down the PS3 at all. I'm a big Sony fan, but it just frustrates me so much when the games don't sell like they should. This is a great game with great advertising, IT SHOULD SELL AMAZINGLY. Grrrrrr. |
I was seriously going to write the exact same thing. Matter of a fact if you asked me the game got more than it deserves in advertisement. The only way to top that is for a full HALO 3 type advertising campaign
They are a lot of posters and trailers in HOME almost 10 times more than it was back in KZ2 days. They have like 10 trailers for the game on PSN store KZ2 had 1 or 2 only
So for the game not selling it’s the people who are not buying. Hell they even bundled Uncharted 2 Beta with the game to push it more which was smart
Good game BTW no matter what sells it gets. Just got my Platinum today (my first ever Platinum !!)
