Perhaps you underestimate people's interests. There were people who thought nobody would fork over $89+ for Wii Fit. Fortunately, for the sake of forwarding the industry, Nintendo showed them that they would eat a nice serving of crow! EyePet may not go on to sell 18mill+, like Wii Fit has, but there are people in the world, including myself, that are interested in EyePet's unique experience. I will fork over the cash because it looks interesting. If you weren't so bent on one-sided beliefs, or bashing anything Sony related, you could try it and see what the industry has to offer, in MANY forms. |
The problem with Sony is it is not a forward thinking company, it has a me too attitude and is playing catch up. What was shown at its e3 with the wand and game line up is more of the same. Basically Sony is trying to compete with Nintendo now on Nintendo's terms and it will fail miserably. Even better, when sony catches up Nintendo will be on to the next innovation while sony will be fighting everybody else for sales.
