Some of the most brilliant scientist in history were believers in Christ. The Bible talks about things that at their time would of been are were ridiculed by the "scientific world". Only to find out later that the Bible was right.
Some false theories that have been proven to be false ; the truth being found in the Bible.
False: Earth is the center of our solar system
Truth: Sun is the center of our solar system
False: Earth is flat
Truth: Earth is round
False: Spontaneous generation
Truth: Life produces life
*The Bible is not a "scientific book", but it is God's Word and contains the truth. Therefore any science in the book would be true, and has been proven to be true time and time again.
