So compared to other PS1 Final Fantasy's how does FFIX compare?

Dont listen to Vertigo. The style might not be to your liking at first as it wasnt mine (i prefer FFVII,VIII,X style as well) but it FFIX turned out to be the most fun FF i've played. Just try it, its a FF afterall, it wont be that bad at least.
