I bought a PS3 mostly for this game...hell I've even beaten Postal 2 twice and Ninja Gaiden 2 three times...but seriously this is going a little too far for me. If thats the worst in the game I'll still get it though.

Dude, judging from the battle between Kratos and Zeus in GoW II, I don't think that's going to be the worst...

I've beaten GoW 1 and 2, neither of them had anything as brutal as this. Not even ripping the wings off Icarus. And Kratos just stabs Zeus alot.

But imagine stabbing Zeus a lot with High Definition, wounds still visible, and guts and gore spilling out.

in GoW I and II all you see is a splash of red and nothing happens to the skin.

 

Imagine the chest being split open and you seeing the ribs, lungs, and maybe the heart beating still.

I've played Ninja Gaiden 2 man, I don't have to imagine that, I've seen it :P poor damn ninjas.

Not really sure why it seems so much worse to me then somebody getting sliced in half or something like that.

Dunno, I don't think the graphics and detail reached the point of reality or entered the Uncanny Valley. To me, the head pulling was cartoony as the heart ripping in The Temple of Doom
