The thing is that this game should be played like Oblivion. Do most sidequets (if not all) before taking on the mainquest. Getting a guide really helps. PS - About the behemoth, if you are talking about the one in fron of GNR, you could have just waited and the Brotherhood of Steel would have killed him for you.
