I agree with you that it's too early to say if Valve will completely stop support for L4D2. However, I thinkt he hardcore fan's fears are that because L4D2 seems, to them, an attempt to get some cheap money, why will they give content from L4D2 to L4D? Wouldn't that defeat the purpose of buying L4D2 and reduce their profits (which hardcore fans believe is now their utmost main concern) if there's no real incentive to buy L4D2? While they could only give some things from L4D2 and leave the rest to be exclusive for the sequel, wouldn't that mean a good portion of L4D2 will essentially be in L4D1? Or on the converse, if there isn't so much content on L4D2 coming to L4D, wouldn't that give credence to the hard core fan's argument that Valve isn't delivering on their promises of DLC and added content (or more specificly, a lot of it?) And isn't the crux of the hard core fan's logic and outrage is why L4D2 is necessary and why Valve has been spending so much time on developing L4D2, instead of using that time to make the promised content for L4D? |
I don't know what system they would use. Delayed DLC for L4D fans, L4D2 isn't going to be a complete carbon copy of L4D, there is evena complete new AI. The incentive is a brand new game.
"I don't understand what someone directly saying "fuck off and get a life" to someone would be. You clearly didn't finish your statement. You should take time to re-read your posts and not rush them, or at least clarify it via edit or a subsequent post..."
I read back my sentance and its how it should be.
