Ahem. God no. In principle the pointer could be the same as a mouse, but in reality there are alot of stability issues (im talking about keeping the pointer steady). Sure there are gonna be a segment of gamers who excell at the point and shoot FPS and will take the top slots, but most gamers require the stability of the mouse.
Honestly I'm beginning to agree with your post from a couple days ago about Natal being used outside of games. I want to see a real AI though, that chatbot trotted out at E3 is shit. I've done better when I was in high school.
