  • 5 campaigns
  • All 5 campaigns available on VS at launch
  • 4 NEW survivors
  • 3 NEW special Infected including "The Charger"
  • New multiplayer game mode
  • Go deeper into the story

Thanks for posting this seece.

For more info. on the background of the new survivors, new gameplay dynamics and the story check out this interview podcast with one of the devs - http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2009/06/01/left-4-dead-2-exclusive-podcast-with-chet-faliszek/

- on the new weapons - my concern here is balance, last thing I want is a team on expert or versus where one person decides they want to experiment with the most useless weapon, so hopefully all weapons have a role to play.
- 5 new campaigns - simply not enough, the original is seriously lacking in content despite replayability and the (imo) superior versus mode, I was hoping for something in the region of double the content.
- new survivors - I don't really mind, because there is so little story or dialogue in the original I don't really care if they change them.
- new infected - great news, although again hopefully well-balanced, because the more infected you have available the more difficult it will be to balance.
- new mode - the best news to come out of this, wonder what it is :o
- story - also great news, this is one of my main criticisms of the original.

Awesome thanks, I'm gonna check that out now.
