It's the emotion on the guys face that makes it so graphic. I clapped a guy's head open in Mortal Kombat 2, back in the 90's. It didn't phase me. This time, the victim is rendered rather realistically, he's looking into the camera, and he's probably thinking, "I only joined the army so I could buy my kid a puppy!"
