So you think that the title and content of the article are flamebait ? It isn't.
Some games won't fit on a single DVD-9. That's not new. I actually bought my 360 due to my preference towards DVD format.

Better loading times
Less expensive to end users
Less expensive to developers

Noisy drive
Eventual disc swapping / mandatory installs
