Zen, Prologue's meta has no relevance, because it wasn't a full release.
As for GT4, even though I dislike the stupid "AAA is 90 full stop" and thus your discrimination against GT4's 89, GT3 had already raised the bar incredibly high and GT4 was always going to be held against it and viewed critically for not being as ground-breaking as its predecessor. It inherited a poisoned chalice, if you will.
