surely, with turnout that low, there needs to be a serious review of UK politics now, no party can claim to be the peoples choice with turnout that low, to do so is wrong, as twice as many people didnt vote than voted for the most popular party

I doubt the outcome would have been any different if 100% of people had voted. Maybe BNP would get a few more votes but Conservatives would have for sure won my a vast majority.  Labour and the Lb Dems proabably wouldnt be anywhere near the tories. And anyway, if people cant be bothered to vote then why should be care? They obviously are stupid or just lazy.
