1 thing is that used game market is very big(or piracy) like you've stated before as I remember, when you try to force people to spend that money, they will just wait longer for a price drop instead because they know they can never sale them back, for some reason, westerners don't mind people leeching their money away(XBL, out of warranty 360s breaking down then buying new ones, itune actually more expensive, zune fucks you without subscription, all these services you don't even need, the average american spending is the highest in the world etc.) it's actually quiet mind blowing.

That describes why we'd accept it but it doesn't speak specifically of anything to do necessarily with the Japanese market. Pirates in all likelihood will still pirate

it's just the general way of thinking is different, if it's going to cost them more in the long run, they just might not bother.

The general way of thinking might be different but what you are saying is a generalization based on an opinion...

there are always going to be a few exceptions, but that's how society works. I'm gonna stop talking about these things though, a lot of you don't seem to understand what I'm trying to say due to cultural differences. there are only things you can understand if you've interacted with a lot of the general public, after all, the blue ocean was only an opinion turned into fact due to Nintendo's success, wasn't it?
