I don't approve. The characters in the game aren't real, and thus production and demand for these don't hurt anyone. If we are to ban games because the objectives of the games are immoral, I think we should at least throw one of our games out.
If we're to ban something because we consider it to contain immoral and disgusting material, how do we judge such things? We can't, it's subjective. Whose point of view do we pick? The liberals? The conservatives? The majority? The minority?
Laws must be objective, and must be applied equally to all (hence why precedence is such an important concept). Not only is it subjective on whether or not rape is too disgusting or not (no matter how much of an majority, even if all believe the same thing), if we consider both murder and rape to be extremely immoral acts, then we must ban both types of games.
