I'm sure I read a study recently which said that, on average, parents become more right-wing if they give birth to a son, and more left-wing if they give birht to a daughter. I think it might've been in the New Scientist. Anyone else see this?

 

I vote right-wing and I wanted a son (I have one now). Absolutly true.

 

Ah but really we need examples of people who used to be left wing, but are now right wing (after having sons - although it presumably takes a few years!) or people whyo were right wing but became left wing after having daughters.

 

Do you feel any more right wing now you have your son?!

What about people who have a son and daughter.

I think that the effect was supposed to cancel out ;)
