When MS and Sony's motion control systems come, we will have our answers as to what they actually are and how they will be used.

The only thing we can use to analyze its potential is through what we have directly see at the E3 conferences and the past usage of camera-based games. Right now, all I see are more Eyetoy games with flailing for MS and more of the same for Sony.

The motion controls would not be used as much, seeing as it was said before...the market has been decided a long time ago. Most of the core gamers who own the HD consoles won't buy the games for the motion controls (for fear/dislike of looking like a jackass playing them) but will try to root for it in hopes it will crush the Wii once and for all (which is odd...hating a console for its "waggle" so much that you need the "waggle" to defeat it....).

I would be glad to be wrong and that the core gamers will finally accept that sometimes change would be good, but for the right reasons...all I see right now are a bunch of techies trying to out-tech one another and few gamers who are truly looking forward to gaming with motion controls...
