not if they don't have the spending power ^^;;;. Sony needs to stop coming out with things that are so god damn expensive, I'm personally getting really sick of it.

That's your personal opinion on the matter.I agree it's a little too expensive but I don't think that'll deter people as much as you think it will.

Exactly how much are Sony charging for the PSP Go! in Japan anyway?

Sony will be charging 26,800 yen (tax included) for the PSP Go in Japan, which is roughly $273 US dollars at the current exchange rate. For comparison, the standard PSP-3000 costs 19,800 yen (tax included), which is about $201 US dollars. There is also a PSP-3000 value pack that includes a 4GB Sony Memory Stick Pro DUO, a carrying case(same color as the PSP you buy), strap, and cleaning cloth for 24,800yen, ~$252.

Now the price difference will be even greater between the DSL/DSi. The DSi's MSRP is 18,900 yen (tax included), ~$192 US dollars and the DS Lite is 16,800yen (tax included), ~$171 US dollars. All of these prices are MSRP though you can usually get each system for ~$10 cheaper from Amazon JP or other stores.
