I doubt it can guess where your foot is if you have a table obscuring most or all of your lower leg.

 

Only time will tell if it can or not. Clearly this product is meant for the living room and not for a gaming/bedroom though. It's the casual approach of "jumping in". Which is fine with me as long as they bring the games.
