Seems about right to me. It seems a bit premature to me to get excited about Natal, with
1.) no release date
2.) a tech demo with problems
3.) a promo video with an aesthetic directly ripped from the Wii's playbook
4.) Its most eloquent champion being Molyneux, the Prince of Exaggerated Promises. (Though he is a great developer.)
Until Microsoft or Sony actually moves on innovative motion controls, I stand by the assessment that Nintendo is the only one who deserves any credit on that front.
