^You technically can run PC games on WINE on Linux on PS3... but as max said, RAM is very limited.
Plus no GPU acceleration available under Linux means that Direct3D calls - translated into OpenGL by WINE - end up using the Mesa (software) rendering. I wouldn't try running any modern game on that, though I'm curious to try running the kind of Half Life...
