Don't make me post the facepalm pic again, please. "Demo" in the video game industry is used to indicate that it is working with software that people can actually interact with. That wasn't what that was. It was a concept video, a teaser using pre-made, pre-rendered footage showing what may be possible if Natal works like they want it to. And no, the fact that the girl was driving a car doesn't automatically make it make sense - her feet never moved and nothing she did indicated that she was controlling her own speed. The fact that it happened in this pretend video does not mean that the pretend driving she was doing actually made sense. It didn't. People have noticed this before now. Look, when you take a concept video like that and present it as "facts" or "proof", you've defeated your own argument. |
You of course completely ignored the fact that this techniology is working on PCs and has been for several years. The company that MS has helping them (actually I beleive MS bough the company) has quite a lot of experiance in Motion control. That video was a DEMO, not a concept, so once again, you are wrong. The fact that in the live demo at E3 as well as the Milo demo that they showed, was very real, and it showcased how NATAL sees you move. This is still in it's developmental stages as I have said MANY times. Just seeing what MS has been able to do in a few months, should give you some indication of what they will be able to do when they finally release it. Also, I'm getting tired of saying this, but MS did say that they plan on releasing Halo and COD for NATAL. Given their whole campeighn was focused on YOU ARE THE CONTROLLER, they will have NO silly dongle, and NATAL will see you "pull" a trigger. When NATAL comes out, you sir, will be eating all the crow I can stuff in your face.
