I love DQ series but I seriously think your estimate for DQ9 and MH3 are way too high...

 

MH I am expecting about 1.5-2M lifetime, as for DQ I think 5 is a reasonable even if it is a bit high. DQVIII was 4M in japan, I think a DS version could exceede this. I would say between 4-5m is a fine guess.

I have always said that it would be a huge disappointment for SE if DQ9 does not sell at least 4 million units. So your expectation is about the same as mine.

However, I think MH3 would creak 1 millions lifetime but not much more. Since only Wii Sports and Wii Fit has sold over 3 million units this gen, I think 3 millions for MH3 is just way too high.

Even if WSR and WF+ "only" sell 1 million each in Japan, they would still be considered success.

You have no idea what the gaming press and the even shitter "gaming press" from site like Yahoo and shit expect from those two games. Peopel expect those games sales to explode if they sell only 1 million more trolling/flaming and Wii is doomed threads will appear major shit talking all around.

I dont expect too much from either of those at least in Japan but also think Others and NA wont flock to them.
