The real problem for these cameras is not the technology. It's the games. And this is why the PS3 eye failed so hard. Unless Microsoft or Sony can come up with a unique game that everybody wants they're not going to be able to come even close to challenging Nintendo. Which is what they are trying to do, make no mistake about that.
I was kinda surprised this E3 though, as some of the Microsoft trailers (I think it was) actually involved people that seemed to have fun. Still, none of them seemed to be smiling, so they appear to have a bit further to go in their rebranding. |
