But god is an asshole? If you have read the old testament you will realise that god is (in the words of Richard Dawkins):
"arguably the most unpleasant character in all fiction: jealous and proud of it; a petty, unjust unforiving control freak; a vindicative, bloodthirsty ethnic cleanser; a misogynistic, homophobic, racist, infanticidal, genocidal, filicidal, pestilential, megalomanical, sadomasochistic, capriciously malevlent bully"God is one of the biggest most unjust assholes ever!
