I'm not saying it won't release in 2009. I'm saying that even if it weren't going to, Yamayuchi could still say this without lying, and would say this to generate hype.

Sarcasm aside  the game has been in production for a long time, if that game is lacking features then so is every racing sim released. Amar has made is clear that the game has been ready for some time now so Sony probably holding it back for a price cut during the end of the year.
