Your reading that wrong. Only the 'depth camera' is being to referred to as $20 to make and that is only one portion of the Natal system. Natal has two cameras, a mic, processing unit, and software.
In addition to that, this $20 price for one part of the whole is also a goal price point by an estimated launch some time in 2010.
Basically your title is very misleading.
