1. I don't know anything more about this story other than prejudice/over-coming prejudice is looking to be one of its themes. I see it as a very weak theme that is hard to empathize with.
2. The VA'ing was alright. This isn't really a huge discussion point. Japanophiles will hate all English VA'ing by default and the everyone else will be fine as long as the people doing the most speaking don't have annoying voices.
3. I inherently dislike the dichotomy of "giant tech cities" and "giant forests/plains areas" coexisting. Without a really good explanation it breaks my suspension of disbelief.
4. Too many assumptions. Need more information.
5. Can't judge characters without playing the game.
6. I'm looking forward to it, but I'm keeping my expectations realistic.
