GOD, here we go again. People claiming Sony lost an exclusive before any hard facts are present. Here is the jist of things....

FFXIV is not full exclusive to PS3, there will be a PC version..........DUH! This is why MS is trying to crush the idea that FFXIV is "exclusive", even though MS has used the 360/PC games in there exclusive listing all the time. They must think seeing as they own majority of the computer OS's in the world that it counts as "on their system".

FFXIV would be a HUGE mistake on 360 because of...dum dum dum! 360 XBOX LIVE FEES!!!! Imagine having to pay for not only XBOX LIVE but a MMO subscription fee as well.

And last time I checked, FFXI sold just as much as a typical FF game(with millions of subscribers online) and was the only ever real competitor to WOW(also Everquest). The game had the deepest story of any MMO and anyone who has played a reasonable length of the game will tell you the same. I too was very board of FFXI when I first got it(for the PS2 mind you) but that all changed onces I formed a "linkshell" and got to lvl 10. From there it becomes an unrivaled gaming experience that is full of adventure. You just can't replicate that in any single player game.

I love the singleplayer story FFs as much as the next person, but to say FFXI was not great is down right wrong. I haven't liked what SE has been doing for quite some time but I never doubt the quality of their bread and butter main FF series.

WTF are you talking about...Xbox Silver is FREE!  FREE! FREE!, and YES M$ has every right to say PC is a platform that it can claim...since M$ is driving 360 programming to be more like PC programming, which allows developers to save money on developmental cost.  Also, the point of the link was that Square Enix is still looking to port this to the 360, which might make it a TIMED exclusive

For MMO's, there is NO REASON to have a Gold membership, since it MMO are not considered multiplayer.  What would be the logic in that cost structure...ie...what value added is Gold XBL to a MMO?
