Ok, The ps2, Wii, gamecube, snes, n64 and other consoles don't have any exclusive because I can buy a PC and play the game using an emulator. Why I would buy a ps2 if I can play ps2 games in my PC? hmmm.. maybe because they aren't the same thing? and no, The PC and the 360 aren't competitors, they don't do the same things, they aren't in the same market place, if you only uses the PC for game, great, but you can't have a lot of 360 games and 360 functionalities. Computer =/= Console. |
Lol, come on, is this what you really think? Emulators emulate's the game experience, it basically makes your computer, act like a console while playing the game. Where as games made for PC/Console are coded seperatly, one for the console, and one for the PC. Also, most emulators for current gem systems won't be around for several years. I think most people will want to play new games before then :/
And yes, the PC and 360 are competitors, how can you even say that last line that I bolded? They do the exact same thing, they process machine code to run applications, programs, and games for the user. They are in the same market place, as games are advertised as for 360, PS3, Wii, DS, PSP, and PC/Mac. Why would companies have commercials for games, and have it directly say that the game comes out on all these systems, including PC if the PC wasn't in the same market? And lastly, please tell me what function the 360 can do that the PC can not?
*Note* For those who like to flame, I'm not trying to say the PC is better than everything else, I for one prefer consoles for gaming, but I'm just trying to show how they are very similar and share many qualities.
