I don't really get it. Hasn't E3 gone downhill the past few years. I heard either last E3 or the one before that they split the locations up. I saw a few pics from some of the locations and it was pretty much dead (almost to the point where some people were wondering if E3 was finished). Aren't there better conferences now like the Tokyo Game Show and a few others (I guess E3 is the biggest for USA). Do they let the general public in to E3 at all or perhaps the last day? I know a few other video game shows allow the public a lot more access/days they can go in.
I don't know a lot about E3 but it doesn't really hold any significance to me. Sure there are game announcements and all that but it seems that companies can just do this on their own. I don't really see the point of people arguing over who won E3 like it really even matters. Probably most of the gaming public / casual video game consumers don't even know or care about E3. I think it would be better if the major video game companies just had big conferences like Blizzard Con before or after E3 on their own different sites allowing their fans/public to attend (with the third party companies going to E3). I guess the lazy game journalist wouldn't like that idea. Anyways anyone else here not really care about E3?
Okay, well I guess everyone here loves E3 and doesn't think it needs improvement. Personally it could fall off the face of this planet and I wouldn't miss it. It is like the North American International Auto Show to me. Everyone drives cars and loves them but hardly anyone gives a shit about that show.
